Oshany and Idylyn

Oshany Tikan and Idylyn Casayas are two gals that are a super part of the NEOS Fellowship Center. Both of these young ladies came to Jesus as children at NEOS. They grew up at NEOS and were trained at NEOS. They are now training others and teaching others what God has done in their lives.

On this trip Idylyn was blessed to take her very first airplane ride. It was also her first time outside of the island of Mindanao. Oshany was blessed to take her first ride on the large 747 aircraft.

   Valerie took them with her to Manila to help with the video workshop at CSM for Val's books. This trip was possible because of the generous gifts of the NEOS supporters.


   It was a fun time for the three of us to not only do ministry together but to also see the sights of Manila and Baguio City.

The NEOS Bible Curriculum For All Ages

Valerie is now writing Sunday school material. It is chronological in that it begins with Genesis and the story of Creation. The series will eventually cover the entire Bible. Each book will cover a small part of God's Word. The books come complete with visuals, lesson plans, teaching instructions, games, review questions, exams, and in every few books there is even a complete Vacation Bible School.

Valerie now has four titles published in her series, The NEOS Bible Curriculum For All Ages.

Book 1: Creation to Cain and Abel (with VBS)

Book 2: Noah to Abraham
Book 3: Isaac and Jacob

Book 4: Joseph (with VBS)

All four books are now available in the USA and in the Philippines. These four books together are the complete book of Genesis in the Bible.

Kids Korner

Esther is nearly seventeen years old and is in high school in Davao City. She is at Faith Academy Mindanao. She is having a grand time and is learning how to budget her time and her money wisely. Esther is now on the student council and has high hopes of doing great things for the school. She is now looking at colleges and hopes to major in graphic arts.

Steven is nearly fifteen years old and has graduated from the 8th grade. He is very ready to join Esther at school in Davao City in the fall of 2011. He is in charge of the worship team at NEOS and is working hard to be responsible and reliable with this important job. He was the Bible verse teacher at the NEOS Vacation Bible school in April of 2011 and can now say he is a graduate of the the NEOS teacher's training program.

DeeAnn is twelve years old and is also a new graduate of her homeshool years. She will join her brother and sister at school in Davao City this August 2011. She will be in middle school. She is now a regular worship leader on Sunday nights at NEOS. She also loves being a part of the NEOS teaching teams and she plans to graduate from the NEOS teacher's training program some day.
